How We Use Information
- Operate event creation, RSVP, check-in, CRM, email, billing, support, moderation, and marketplace discovery workflows.
- Help organizers resolve event issues, understand audience history, suppress no-contact records, and comply with reasonable data requests.
- Protect Hobbybop, organizers, attendees, and the public from spam, abuse, fraud, account misuse, and unsafe event activity.
- Improve reliability through user-safe errors, observability, diagnostics, production smoke checks, and support escalation records.
Sharing And Processors
Hobbybop does not sell personal data. We share data only as needed to operate the product, comply with law, protect the service, or support an organizer-controlled workflow.
- Cloudflare hosts the application, database, storage, routing, and production infrastructure.
- Resend sends transactional and organizer-approved event messages when email sending is configured.
- Polar handles organizer-plan billing, checkout, subscription status, and customer portal workflows.
- Connected import or publishing providers may receive or return data only when an organizer connects and uses that integration.
Choices And Requests
- Attendees can ask an organizer or Hobbybop to review, correct, suppress, export, or delete event-related data where legally and operationally appropriate.
- Organizer email recipients can unsubscribe from organizer-to-attendee messages; Hobbybop records that as a no-contact state for suppression.
- Some records may be retained when needed for security, billing, legal compliance, abuse investigation, fraud prevention, or event-operation audit trails.
